Escort Cards

I love the idea of using the white finger starfish as escort cards.

Aisle decorations

I definitely want to have rose petals lining the aisles. I love the starfish at the ends of the aisles too, but not sure if that works in our setting.  So might put some flowers and/or ribbon at the end of the rows.

End Of Aisle Decoration

Picture
This will be similar to what we end up doing that I ended up making myself.  Some silk purple flowers and a starfish attached and will have eggplant and orange ribbon flowing down.  Starfish will be slightly bigger too.

Table Numbers

I love these table numbers.  Since we will probably already have pictures of our dog included in our charity favor donation, I like the idea of just drawing numbers in the sand and snapping a picture of that and using it as a table number.

Below is the one that we're actually using.

Favors- Charity Donation

Adam and I adopted a 12 week old rescue lab mix from North Shore Animal League about 5 months after we started dating, Georgia.  Instead of favors, we are going to make a charity donation to North Shore in her honor to have her be involved in our wedding since she won't be making the trip from New York to Florida. We're going to include a couple of our e-pics with the dog in a frame at each table with a note stating "In lieu of favors and for our four-legged family member that could not join us on our special day, a donation has been made to North Shore Animal League."

The end result

Made on Vista Print!  It's a little big though, might have to re-do and make them smaller.

Monograms

Picture
We got these beachy monograms made from Jenn Johnston at etsy.com.  They came super quick and were exactly what we wanted.

Picture

Raffia Fans

I'm going to place one of these on every other chair.  We wrapped the handles in alternating egpplant and orange colors  with our names and date and our beachy monogram on a card that I made with VistaPrint business card and tied with the opposite color ribbon.

Sand Ceremony

I want to have a sand ceremony instead of a unity candle lighting.  I think it goes better with our theme and we don't have to worry about the flame going out with being outside.  I decorated the one we bought with some raffia ribbon and preserved orchids.   Below is the original one we bought from Ebay.

Ring Bearer and Flower Girl

I want to use a big shell as the ring holder and another one to hold petals for the flower girl.  I bought two 6 inch nautilus shells like the below, but instead of sand, I have dark purple satin fabric that's going to be under the rings to match our colors.  The flower girls will have rose petals and loose orchids.   Below is the one I made for the ringbearer with fake rings glued in :)

Chair signs.

Ordered these off of Etsy.  I wanted them to say Mr. and Mrs. instead of Bride and Groom, but they still turned out pretty cute.

Menu Cards

I want to tuck an orchid into the napkin holding each menu card.

Sticking with the beach theme.  Going to have it elevated like the last pic with sand, starfish, shells and loose orchids scattered below.

Cocktail Hour Decor.

I got these to put on the few tables that we have for cocktail hour.  I'm going to put shells, sand and purple dendrobium orchids inside and scatter purple orchids around it too.

Card Box

We got two ceramic shells, which my niece/flower girl is holding, that we are lining with dark purple satin fabric to use as the card box.  And just so people know it's a card box, we're throwing in a couple fake cards before :-)  Below are the ones that we made.

Welcome Bags

Picture
I want to make my bags look similar to this.  I bought the natural color, canvas fabric totes from cheaptotes.com, and want to tie a note and sand dollar on with raffia ribbon.  We are making the bags have a Florida/tropical theme, and putting in them orange, water, sun chips, mini sunscreen, mini malibu rum, sand dollar sugar cookies (as shown below from luluscookies.com) postcard and magnet from the city where we're getting married, local area information and other snacks.

Transportation

I would LOVE to get vintage Rolls Royce limos for transporting the wedding party.  Have to see how that works with the budget though, but they're just so beautiful!

Actual Transportation

Picture
We decided to go with a Trolley instead of the Rolls.  We thought this was a better option since our ceremony and reception are at two different locations and many of our guests are from out of town, so they can use it too.  We are using Siesta Island Trolley.
